Respiratory Therapy Clinic

Respiratory Therapists provide respiratory therapeutic and diagnostic services across the continuum of care.

Due to COVID-19, service times may vary. Call to confirm.

This service, provided to all age groups, evaluates respiratory needs in a variety of settings including:

  • community
  • acute care (hospital)
  • outpatient
  • continuing care

Services include:

  • respiratory assessments
  • consultation and evaluation of respiratory medications with clients
  • diagnostics including spirometry, arterial blood gases, and oximetry
  • Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) respiratory equipment needs assessment
  • consultation services for equipment and sleep related issues
  • pulmonary rehabilitation clinics
  • asthma/COPD education
  • referrals to other disciplines
  • education on how to use respiratory medicine
  • smoking cessation programs
  • educational workshops as requested by community or providers
  • taking part in health and wellness fairs
  • support and participation in research initiatives
