Location: Westlock Community Health Services
Provides assessment, treatment, programs, and education for children and adults who have, or are at risk of developing, communication delays or disorders. Assessment and treatment of swallowing problems is also offered.This service provides: assessment (individual and group) treatment (individual and group) intervention consultation follow-Up education and training, and in some cases Telehealth Services are provided in office, schools, hospitals, through home-based services to Home Care clients or through Telehealth. Hospital-based services are available to adults at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie. Intensive services are offered to patients of the 5 North Rehabilitation Unit. A Doctor's order is required for Inpatient referrals.
