Boil Water Advisory lifted for Village of Alix

May 14, 2018

ALIX – Effective May 12, 2018, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the boil water advisory issued for the Village of Alix.

An issue with the water system in the Village of Alix which resulted in a water outage in the community had prompted AHS to issue an advisory as a precautionary measure on May 10, 2018. That issue has since been resolved, and water quality testing has confirmed that water is safe to consume.

All Alix residents and businesses can return to normal water consumption practices; boiling is no longer required.
