Temporary closure of weekend outpatient clinics in Manning extended

October 28, 2021

MANNING — The Manning Community Health Centre weekend outpatient clinics, which have been closed since Oct. 1, will remain temporarily closed until Nov. 30, because of increased pressures due to COVID-19 and a temporary staffing shortage.

AHS is working to ensure local residents continue to have access to the care they need during this time.

Regular weekday (Monday to Friday) outpatient clinics remain open from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Emergency services will not be affected, and the emergency department remains open 24/7 for any urgent health concerns.

Residents are reminded to contact their primary healthcare provider or call Health Link at 811, which is available 24/7, for non-emergency, health-related questions.

AHS would like to thank the community for its patience and understanding during this time.
