LAC LA BICHE— Physician coverage has been found for the emergency department (ED) at the William J. Cadzow - Lac La Biche Healthcare Centre from 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1 to 8 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 2. The emergency department will remain open and available to area residents in need of urgent care during these times.
The previous Public Service Announcement issued Oct. 30 stated that the William J. Cadzow - Lac La Biche Healthcare Centre would be temporarily without on-site physician coverage during these times, but this is now being rescinded.
Due to the inability to secure physician coverage, the ED will be temporarily without on-site physician coverage from 4 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 2 – 8 a.m., Friday, Nov. 3. Efforts continue to secure physician coverage. This disruption may not occur if coverage is found.
