Two Hills Health Centre Emergency Department to temporarily close

TWO HILLS – Due to an unexpected gap in physician coverage, the Two Hills Health Centre Emergency Department (ED) will temporarily close between 4 p.m. Monday, December 18 and 8 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, as well as between 4 p.m. December 19 and 8 a.m. Wednesday, December 20.

Nursing staff will remain on site in the Emergency Department providing triage and assessment, and referring patients to healthcare facilities in surrounding communities as needed.

If medically stable, patients will be referred to another site. In the event a patient is not stable, they will be transported to a neighbouring site by EMS.

Residents are reminded to call Health Link at 811, which is available 24/7 for non-emergency, health-related questions.
