Water quality advisory lifted for Central Alberta beaches

RED DEER – Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the water quality advisories that were issued in three water bodies in Central Zone.

Water quality, including fecal bacteria levels, have returned to an acceptable level and the health risk is low for usage of the lake for recreational purposes.

As always, visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any lake or reservoir, at any time.
