Urgent care centre at East Edmonton Health Centre temporarily closed following water leak

March 21, 2025

EDMONTON – Due to a water leak, the urgent care centre at the East Edmonton Health Centre is temporarily closed, with regular operations expected to resume Monday, March 24, at 5 p.m.

Health Link at 811 is available 24/7 for non-emergency, health-related questions. In the event of a medical emergency, please call 911.

Alberta Health Services (AHS) recognizes unplanned closures can be stressful to patients seeking care. AHS is working to complete the necessary cleanup as quickly as possible. Staff will remain on site through the weekend to assist and redirect any patients who arrive at the urgent care centre. AHS would like to thank the community for its patience and understanding as this work is completed.
