Freshwater algae advisory lifted for Fork Lake (County of Lac La Biche)

LAC LA BICHE – Monitoring of Fork Lake, which has been under freshwater algae advisory since Feb. 1, 2013, indicates that freshwater algae is no longer present in this lake's waters to such an extent as to necessitate advisory precautions.

As such, effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the freshwater algae advisory for Fork Lake.

Advisory signage previously posted around this lake has also been removed.
