Inpatient admissions and emergency service at Tofield Health Centre to resume

Full services resume June 9th at 8 a.m.

TOFIELD – Alberta Health Services has secured 24-7 physician coverage at Tofield Health Centre. Acute care admissions and emergency department operations will resume at 8 a.m. today; Friday, June 9.

“We are pleased to be able resume operations earlier than expected,” says Sherie Allen, acting Chief Zone Officer for AHS Central Zone. “We sincerely regret the impact the closure had on our patients and the community. AHS continues to actively recruit physicians into the Tofield area.”
