• Nutrition and Food Services aims to provide menus appropriate for patients and residents with diabetes including low sugar or carbohydrate reduced foods. • For patients able to self-manage their diabetes by matching insulin to available carbohydrate, “available carbohydrate” nutrition information is provided to the patients on menus (at some health care facilities) and/or on the tool, Carbohydrate Content of Foods Served to Adults in Hospital
