Pregnancy pathways are based on research and expert review. They were developed by the former Maternal Newborn Child & Youth SCN to help healthcare providers identify risks early and provide the right care for mothers and babies.

These pathways give healthcare providers access to current information, tools and Alberta resources. They also help ensure patients receive consistent, high-quality care across the province, no matter where they live.
