The Critical Care SCN (CC SCN), through innovation and collaboration, works to ensure evidence-based, quality care for people in Alberta experiencing critical illness or injury.

• Improving the experience and satisfaction of patients, families and healthcare professionals
• Increasing efficiencies, adding capacity and reducing costs

Since launching in 2012, the CC SCN has strived to:

• Create a sustainable system with appropriate and timely access to critical care services
• Leverage technology to support the delivery and measurement of critical care services
• Apply evidence-based best practices to improve patient and system outcomes
