The AHS Hand Hygiene Policy states that hand hygiene compliance remains an organizational priority and is a key part of our commitment to excellence and safety. When we improve our hand hygiene compliance, we create safer care for patients and a healthier environment for staff. Accreditation Canada recently revised the Hand Hygiene Required Organizational Practice to formalize documentation and commitment requirements associated with hand hygiene improvement activities.
Resources and templates are available below to help guide managers in meeting Accreditation Canada’s documentation expectations.
