The University of Alberta Hospital’s, Kaye Edmonton Clinic (KEC) is a unique clinic that brings together a diverse range of outpatient services from a variety of health care providers. The site is a centre of learning, integrating clinical research with patient care, to advance patient outcomes in a number of diseases and disorders. Through our commitment to clinical practice, education and research we provide expert, “whole person care” to everyone who needs healing.
Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for patients and families to get the care they need. Having different healthcare teams under one roof, means patients can conveniently move from one appointment to the next, from diagnosis to rehabilitation, and all the steps in between.
The facility was named after Mr. Donald Kaye, in recognition of Mr. Kaye’s $30 million donation to the University Hospital Foundation to advance patient care and research in Ambulatory Care. Mr. Kaye’s donation was the single largest gift ever made to healthcare in Alberta.
