The Allard Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Clinic is in the Community Services Centre building located on the west side of the Royal Alexandra Hospital in a separate building close to the LRT station, and directly west of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women.
From the LRT station, use the east entrance. Walk through the atrium and down the hallway towards the gymnasium. Take the west elevator to the 2nd floor. The clinic is in Room 250.
From the CSC parking lot, use the north entrance. Turn right and walk down the hallway towards the gymnasium. Take the west elevator to the 2nd floor. The clinic is in Room 250.
The elevator in the atrium will not take you to the clinic.
An in-person visit may take 30-60 minutes. During this visit, a nurse will review your medical history and a physician will see you as part of your assessment.
The Royal Alexandra Hospital is a teaching hospital, so you may also see medical residents and healthcare students as members of your care team.
