A multi-year Provincial Breast Health Initiative is underway in Alberta to improve breast cancer care, reduce wait times, coordinate care, and enhance the patient experience. Patient-reported experience measures and patient and family engagement are an important part of this work to ensure patient and family-centred solutions.
