Finding Us

GI Outpatient Clinic is located on the 7th floor Outpatient services. Clinic Module is 7E. Take the Outpatient elevators to the 7th floor, turn right and follow signage

At the Information Desk, on the main floor, there are "wayfinders", people in red shirts to help you find your way. There are also electronic kiosks throughout the hospital that give directions.

What to expect

Once you arrive at the clinic, check in at the front desk.

You may be in the clinic for up to one hour, so please come prepared.

When you see the Gastroenterologist, you will review your medical history and talk about the reason for your visit.

After the Gastroenterologist examines you, you and the Gastroenterologist will talk about the best treatment choices for you.

Treatment choices may include medication therapy, further laboratory investigations, endoscopy, colonoscopy or a wide variety of services available such as Motility (available at South Health Campus) or a referral to another healthcare provider such as social worker/ dietitian.

You may return to the Gastroenterology Outpatient Service for your follow-up appointments.
