The Provincial Partner Oversight (PPO) Team works together with Continuing Care and Seniors’ Supportive Living facilities across Alberta to ensure residents have access to influenza and COVID-19 immunization to reduce the burden of disease in this population.
These resources are for providers who work at Continuing Care and Seniors’ Supportive Living facilities within Alberta. This includes Continuing Care Homes – Type A (formerly Long-term Care [LTC]), Continuing Care Homes – Type B (formerly Designated Supportive Living [DSL]) and Supportive Living Accommodations (SLA).
Note: Facilities with less than 10 beds are welcome to use these resources but do not fall under the requirements set out by Alberta Health for the outreach immunization program.
