The Healthy Beginnings program supports families and their newborn babies from birth to two months of age. After this, support can provided through child health clinic. Families with newborns are welcome to call to speak with a Healthy Beginnings nurse any day of the week at. Families may also access a public health nurse by phone anytime day or night by calling the Healthy Beginnings Hotline.
Please remember to bring your child’s Alberta Healthcare card.

Healthy Beginnings is located within Public Health in East Edmonton Health Centre, on the main floor by the north doors. There is a reception desk within Public Health, as well as an information desk for the health centre in the main lobby.
You will meet with a registered nurse who will be able to provide care and support.
