AHS is now providing supervised consumption services at Sheldon M. Chumir Health Centre 24 hours per day, seven days a week.
AHS will continue to work with the City of Calgary, Calgary Police Service, the Calgary Coalition on Supervised Consumption to monitor and review these services and AHS will continue to provide updates to the community.

Calgary’s Supervised Consumption Service at the Sheldon M. Chumir Health Centre operates under the umbrella of Safeworks Harm Reduction Services. Safeworks also operates two outreach teams: Safeworks Outreach and Safeworks Connect.
