Typically, appointments for health concerns or check-ups should be booked with your family doctor or nurse practitioner. You can contact their office to find out how to book an appointment.
If you do not have a family doctor, you can find one by:
Your family doctor may refer you to a specialist. The specialist's office will usually book the first appointment for you and contact you by phone or mail with the date and time.
Your specialist will let you know if follow up appointments are needed and how to book those appointments.
Your family doctor may also recommend diagnostic imaging or other tests. If this is the case, they will explain how the appointment will be booked.
If lab tests are required, you can use the Lab Services booking tool to schedule an appointment.
