Alberta Precision Laboratories (APL) is committed to stewardship of the Canadian Supply of Immune Globulin Products.
Prescribers of IG are expected to follow the Prairie Collaborative's Criteria for the Clinical Use of Immune Globulin.
All Requests for Immune Globulin treatment must be submitted using the IVIG Request Form, unless submitted through Connect Care.
All IVIG Requests will be screened against appropriateness criteria, including use of the adjusted body weight dosing calculator where applicable.
