Mental health services at Lakeland temporarily relocated

March 28, 2016

SLAVE LAKE – Alberta Health Services (AHS) programming and services at the Lakeland Centre (101 Main Street S.E.) will be temporarily relocated effective March 29 while routine upgrades are performed to the elevator on site.

These upgrades are expected to take nine to 11 weeks to complete.

During this time, mental health programming and services will be offered at the Addiction Services building (104, 101 3 St. S.W.). This includes the walk-in program held on Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

AHS staff are in the process of contacting affected clients as well as partner agencies.

Signs will also be posted at the Lakeland Centre.

AHS recognizes the inconvenience this may cause clients and thanks everyone for their understanding and patience.

Anyone with questions or concerns may call 780-805-3502.
