Cancer care service phased restoration for Fort McMurray

FORT McMURRAY – A phased re-opening of the Fort McMurray Cancer Centre will begin July 11, 2016.

Over the coming weeks, Alberta Health Services staff will begin directly contacting cancer patients who were previously receiving treatments at the Fort McMurray Cancer Centre.

If contacted patients wish to resume their cancer treatments locally, appointments will be rescheduled accordingly.

Once the first phase is complete, AHS staff will begin the second phase by directly contacting and scheduling all new patients to receive treatment at Fort McMurray Cancer Centre.
