Public invited to share views about local healthcare delivery

LA CRETE – Local and area residents are invited to attend a public meeting of the True North Health Advisory Council (HAC) on May 15.

This is an opportunity for the public to meet council members, provide feedback on health services, share views about local healthcare delivery and propose ideas for improvements.

AHS North Zone leadership will provide an update on health services within North Zone.

The meeting runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Great Room at the La Crete Continuing Care Centre, 10601 100 Ave. Feedback from community residents will be gathered and shared with AHS Zone leadership.

Health Advisory Councils play an important role in supporting the strategic direction of AHS by engaging members of their communities throughout Alberta in a respectful, transparent and accountable manner. Public participation is essential to improving the quality and accountability of health services. Working in partnership with AHS is an important way to ensure that services are more responsive to the needs of those who use them.
