The Alberta Health Services COVID-19 online booking tool will be upgraded from midnight to 2 a.m. Tuesday, March 9 and not be available for appointment booking.
The upgrade is being done to prepare for the next wave of eligible Albertans.
This temporary outage will also affect booking a COVID-19 immunization appointment through Health Link. Access to Health Link/811 to speak to a registered nurse for medical advice will be unaffected and will continue throughout this upgrade.
Albertans are encouraged to access the AHS COVID-19 online immunization booking tool before, or after these hours while the upgrade will be taking place.
As an alternate to booking through the AHS COVID-19 online immunization booking tool, eligible Albertans are urged to contact a participating pharmacy. Bookings are handled directly by participating pharmacies which can be found on the Alberta Blue Cross website: https://www.ab.bluecross.ca/news/covid-19-immunization-program-information.php.
