Effective Monday, November 1, community laboratory service from the Bigelow Fowler South Medical Clinic will be transferred to the Lethbridge Community Lab at Chinook Regional Hospital, due to the permanent closure of the clinic.
Alberta Precision Laboratories (APL) staff and equipment from the primary care clinic will be redeployed to Lethbridge’s primary lab location to accommodate increased patient volumes. We do not expect any impact on service levels or wait times for patients as a result of this change.
APL Patient Service Centre locations and hours in Lethbridge as of November 1 will be:

APL is also planning to resume community lab service at the Campbell Clinic South and Family Medical Centre on November 15. These lab sites were temporarily closed over the last two months due to local staffing shortages.
