SMOKY LAKE — Physician coverage has been found for the emergency department (ED) at the Smoky Lake – George McDougall Healthcare Centre from August 4 at 4:00 p.m. – August 8 at 8:00 a.m.
The emergency department will remain open and available to area residents in need of urgent care during these times.
The previous Public Service Announcement issued August 2 stated that the Smoky Lake – George McDougall Healthcare Centre ED would be temporarily without on-site physician coverage during these times, but this is now being rescinded.
