Physician coverage found: Elk Point Emergency Department to remain open until 8 a.m. Dec. 6

ELK POINT - Physician coverage has been found for the emergency department (ED) at the Elk Point Healthcare Centre from 8 a.m., Tuesday, December 5 until 8 a.m., Wednesday, December 6. The emergency department will remain open and available to area residents in need of urgent care during these times.

The previous Public Service Announcement issued Dec. 4 stated that the Elk Point Healthcare Centre emergency department would be temporarily without on-site physician coverage during these times, but this is now being rescinded.
