SMOKY LAKE— Physician coverage has been found for the emergency department (ED) at the George McDougall - Smoky Lake Healthcare Centre from 5 p.m., Friday, August 16 to 8 a.m., Monday, August 19.
The emergency department will be fully open and available to area residents in need of urgent care at this time.
The previous Public Service Announcement issued earlier today (Aug. 16) stated that the George McDougall -Smoky Lake Healthcare Centre would be temporarily without on-site physician coverage from 5 p.m., Friday, August 16 to 8 a.m., Monday, August 19, but this is now partially rescinded.
