RED DEER – Patients and visitors to Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre (RDRHC) will notice changes to traffic flow and parking at the site, as work continues on the parkade, and the redevelopment and expansion of the hospital.
The three public entrances to the RDRHC site will be reduced to two:
The West public parking lot will be closed, effective Oct. 15.
A portion of the CACC public parking lot also will be closed. Members of the public are asked to reserve this lot for patients of the CACC and their family members only.
The public is asked to park at the South parkade, which is still in operation as construction is underway. Work on expanding the parkade continues to necessitate the closure of 39 St. between 51 Ave. and 52 Ave.
Pay machines for parking are located at both the hospital’s and CACC’s main entrances.
Signage and flag persons are on site to direct traffic. Motorists are asked to please slow down when driving through the site and obey directions. Pedestrians are also asked to please keep to posted sidewalks for their safety around construction traffic.
Construction updates on projects happening at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre can be found on Together4Health.
