CALGARY – Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the water quality advisory that was issued June 26, 2025, for the water of Tim Horton Children’s Ranch swim pond located in the Kananaskis area within the Calgary Zone of AHS.
Water quality, including fecal bacteria levels, has returned to an acceptable level and the health risk is low for usage of the swim pond for recreational purposes.
As always, visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any lake or reservoir, at any time.
