Water quality advisory lifted for St. Albert Sturgeon River

ST. ALBERT – Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the water quality advisory that was issued June 5, 2026, for the Sturgeon River at the Kingswood Boat Dock, Kingswood Park Day Loop, or Kingswood Park Disc Golf Course in St. Albert.

Water quality has returned to an acceptable level, and the health risk is low for usage of the water for recreational purposes.

As always, visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any body of water, at any time.
