Athabasca Healthcare Centre celebrates 100th anniversary

ATHABASCA – The public is invited to an open house Sept. 10 at the Athabasca Healthcare Centre to celebrate the hospital’s 100th year of operation.

Several events will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. throughout the facility, including:

• Formal ceremony and cake cutting at 1 p.m.
• Live musical entertainment
• Hand-washing demonstrations
• Children’s activities
• Blood-pressure and blood-sugar testing
• Medication counseling (please bring a list of your medications)
• Door prizes and refreshments

The Athabasca Healthcare Centre is located at 3100 - 48 Avenue.
