Neurosciences Care Alberta

Provincial Programs - Acute Care Alberta

The Neurosciences Care Alberta (NCA) provincial program within Acute Care Alberta (ACA),provides provincial leadership, oversight, and coordination to strengthen neurosciences care across the province. We work collaboratively with health system partners to improve acute, rehabilitation, and specialty ambulatory care for patients with neurological conditions.

Our purpose is to achieve the best possible patient and health system outcomes by applying evidence-based, data-driven practices and fostering collaboration across Alberta. A patient-centred approach guides everything we do, with Patient and Family Advisors embedded throughout our work to help shape priorities, share lived experience, and ensure patient voices inform decision-making.
