The Dianne and Irving Kipnes Urology Centre (formerly known as the Northern Alberta Urology Centre) and CJ Woods Prostate Health Clinic provide a state of the art, single point of access to ambulatory urological services.
Patient visits include those for clinic appointments, cystoscopy, lithotripsy, urodynamics, fusion biopsy, Neuromodulation Centre of Excellence and treatment of prostate disease and cancer.

There is a 9 story parkade adjacent to the Kaye Edmonton Clinic for your parking convenience.
Note: the parkade elevators are separate from the Kaye Edmonton Clinic elevators. Access to the Kaye Edmonton Clinic building is only accessible from Level 1 or 2 of the parkade elevator lobbies. Refer to the parking map below for more information.

For public transit, the closest LRT station is the Health Sciences Jubilee Station.
If you require a mobility device during your appointment, we encourage you to bring your own, as wheelchair availability is limited at the KEC.
The Dianne and Irving Kipnes Urology Centre is located on Level 7 of the Kaye Edmonton Clinic. After entering the building, proceed to the main elevators of the Kaye Edmonton Clinic and take the elevator to level 7. Once on level 7, follow the signs to register and check-in for your appointment.

If you require a kidney, ureter and bladder (KUB) (x-ray) prior to your appointment, proceed to Diagnostic Imaging at the KEC, Level 0.

The Division of Urology falls under the Department of Surgery within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. Many of the urologists practicing at the Dianne and Irving Kipnes Urology Centre are also actively involved in clinical research studies at the centre. Likewise, residents are expected to participate in a clinical research project each year.
The Alberta Prostate Cancer Research Initiative (APCaRI) brings together a multi-disciplinary team of prostate cancer scientists, physicians, patients, healthcare employees and an international collaborative network together to positively impact the outcomes and quality of life of those living with prostate cancer by accelerating the translation of new research ideas from the laboratory to the clinic.
