Volunteers needed at Medicine Hat Regional Hospital

March 11, 2019

MEDICINE HAT — Medicine Hat Regional Hospital is seeking volunteers to support patients and their families.

Each and every day, dedicated volunteers are engaged in meaningful activities and roles that impact and enhance the patient experience. Volunteers come from diverse backgrounds but have one thing in common – a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives and health care experiences of our patients, residents, clients and their families. Volunteers are an integral part of the health care team, supporting and enhancing the work of our health care professionals.

Placements available are very diverse and suited to those who want to spend time directly with patients. The Volunteer Resources Department has options available for those who like to visit, do leisure activities or volunteer in a leadership role. Those interested should be able to make a regular commitment of time.
