Volunteers needed at the Milk River Health Centre

April 4, 2019

MILK RIVER — The Milk River Health Centre has opportunities for Mealtime Assistance Volunteers.

Every day, dedicated volunteers are engaged in meaningful activities that enhance the patient experience. Volunteers come from diverse backgrounds but have one thing in common – a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives and health care experiences of our patients, residents, clients and their families. Volunteers are an integral part of the health care team, supporting and enhancing the work of our health care professionals.

Mealtime Assistance Volunteers enhance the mealtime experience for patients, giving them an opportunity to enjoy their meals in an environment that is comfortable, inviting and supportive. The volunteer role is very important and has a significant impact on the patient’s nutritional and social well-being.
