Quality & Safety Summit 2018

The 4th Annual Quality & Safety Summit will be held on October 17th & 18th at the MacEwan Conference and Event Centre in Calgary, Alberta.

This year our theme is “1 + 1 = 3”. We are going to create synergy to transform our health system. Together with patients we will find new ways to solve old problems, spark curiosity and build stronger networks.

We are pleased to say that patient and family advisors have been involved in all aspects of planning and development for the Quality and Safety Summit, including the selection of themes, topics and speakers. Patient and family advisors have also been involved in co-planning and will be co-facilitating most sessions. Patient attendance is important to the organizers of the Quality & Safety Summit - we need you there to discuss the future of our healthcare system! There will be no cost for patients to attend and further, travel and accommodation expenses will be paid in advance for patients and family advisors.

The facility we chose is 100% accessible so that all of our participants can attend comfortably and contribute fully.

Anyone, regardless of location, will be able to tune in to a live webcast of keynotes and breakout sessions on both days – October 17 & 18, 2018. Live conversations will be happening on X throughout the summit on both days to encourage participants near and far to join in.
