South Zone: Free online classes available

SOUTH ZONE – Free online classes to help participants achieve a healthy lifestyle are now available for residents in the South Zone of Alberta Health Services (AHS).

The Alberta Healthy Living Program (AHLP) is now offering health education workshops via Zoom, an online video communication app. Participants can access these workshops at home on a computer, iPad, or tablet.

Workshops are led by AHS healthcare staff. Participants will have opportunity to meet others who share similar health experiences in a supportive and interactive setting. Session days and times vary.

Classes being offered include Healthy Eating for Reducing Your Risk; Stroke Class; Weight Management; Explaining Pain; COPD Education; Basic Diabetes Management; and Cardiac Classes.
