Residents invited to HAC virtual information session 

SLAVE LAKE — Alberta Health Services (AHS) and the Lesser Slave Lake Health Advisory Council (HAC) invite area residents to attend a virtual information session on land acknowledgements.  
 
This Zoom session will be held on Wednesday, April 14, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. 

This is an opportunity to: 

• Look at land acknowledgements through an Indigenous lens, hear about their significance and bring an understanding of why they’re important. 
• Learn how to develop a land acknowledgement statement and the best way to present it.
• Hear about the Lesser Slave Lake HAC.
