Coaldale Health Centre ambulatory clinic opening moved to July

Clinic will now open July 4

COALDALE – Due to scheduling conflicts, the Coaldale Health Centre ambulatory clinic will re-open on July 4, not June 20 as previously announced. 

Effective July 4, patients will be accepted weekdays from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and weekends from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

The ambulatory clinic was closed in March 2020 as part of Alberta Health Services’ COVID-19 response. 

The clinic will be able to diagnose and treat non-urgent, non-life-threatening, conditions. Some examples of symptoms physicians will treat at the clinic are: 

The Coaldale Health Centre laboratory continues to be open, by appointment only, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Booking is available online. Book an Appointment | Alberta Precision Laboratories (albertaprecisionlabs.ca) 

Diagnostic imaging drop-in hours at the facility are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Minor adjustments to hours are posted at the main entrance to the health centre. 

All individuals in the community requiring immediate medical care should phone 911. 

Individuals requiring non-emergency medical care continue to be encouraged to call their family physician. To speak to a nurse and receive telephone advice and health information, families can also contact Health Link 24/7 by dialing 811.
