Boil Water Advisory lifted for communities in Municipal District of Smoky River

SMOKY RIVER – Alberta Health Services (AHS) has confirmed that satisfactory water quality has been restored in the MD of Smoky River.  
As water quality has been restored, the boil water advisory issued Oct. 5, 2022 has been lifted, effective immediately.

All residents and businesses in the communities of Falher, Guy, Donnelly, Girouxville, Jean-Cote, as well as the Smoky River Water Co-op station can return to normal water consumption practices once they have flushed water lines; boiling will no longer be required.
