Volunteers needed at Stettler Hospital and Care Centre

STETTLER — Volunteers are needed to support Alberta Health Services’ Pursuing Active Living Support (PALS) program, which aims to improve the quality of life for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke and other related conditions.

This volunteer role includes supporting program staff in meeting the care needs of clients, assisting with the provision of recreation-based activities to support client independence and socialization, and assisting with the provision of respite services to support family caregivers.
