Focus group participants sought for cancer study

BROOKS – Alberta Health Services’ Cancer Strategic Clinical Network (SCN) is inviting eligible individuals to participate in a study to better understand factors that affect the access of newcomers to cancer diagnosis resources.

The SCN is seeking individuals 18 years of age and older who moved to Canada in the last seven years, and who have experienced or have a loved one who has experienced a cancer diagnosis in Alberta. Participation is completely voluntary.

Participants will be asked to attend one of two in-person sessions at the JBS Centre (323 1 St E.) on Monday, June 26. There are two times to choose from: 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Language interpretation services are available. Participants will be offered a gift card in the amount of $25/hour of participation.
