Temporary Laboratory Access Change at Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre

May 13, 2024

LACOMBE — Due to renovations at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre to improve accessibility in the lobby, there will be temporary impacts to laboratory use at the facility.

From now until the first phase of work is complete, there will be limited laboratory waiting space for walk-in patients from the community. Anyone who needs a laboratory appointment is encouraged to book ahead of time. This can be done through the online booking tool at albertaprecisionlabs.ca, or by calling 1-877-702-4486.

Phase one of construction is expected to be completed this summer.

AHS thanks the community of Lacombe and area for their patience and understanding as this work is completed and is excited about the improved experience the renovations will bring to patients and staff at Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre. We are also grateful for the support of the Lacombe Health Trust, which contributed the majority of funding for this renovation.
