Piyami Health Centre Ambulatory Clinic to Reopen

July 29, 2024

PICTURE BUTTE – The Piyami Health Centre ambulatory clinic will reopen today, July 29 at 5 p.m. following a temporary closure from a water leak. Regular hours on weekdays are from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

At this time, clinic patients should enter the facility on the north side of the building and signage will be in place to direct them.

Public and allied health programs, along with laboratory services and diagnostic imaging are anticipated to remain closed until the week of August 5.

Affected program staff continue to contact those with appointments to reschedule or relocate appointments. Laboratory and diagnostic imaging services are available in Lethbridge and Coaldale.

Residents are reminded to call Health Link at 811, which is available 24/7 for non-emergency health-related questions. In the event of a medical emergency, please call 911.

AHS is working hard to ensure local residents continue to have access to the care they need during this time.

We are thankful for the support of healthcare teams and centres in the surrounding communities and would like to thank the community for their patience and understanding during this time.
