Piyami Health Centre services reopen August 13

August 12, 2024

PICTURE BUTTE – The Piyami Health Centre’s public and allied health programs, along with laboratory services and diagnostic imaging, will reopen tomorrow (Aug. 13).

Programs and services in the facility were temporarily closed due to damage from a water leak.

The ambulatory clinic previously reopened July 29. Regular hours for the clinic are weekdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Combined laboratory and X-ray technologists are in high demand, creating challenges staffing the site. Temporary service disruptions will continue to be communicated. Individuals seeking care during these disruptions are advised to visit Coaldale Health Centre or Chinook Regional Hospital for those services.

Alberta Health Services is grateful for the support of healthcare teams and centres in the surrounding communities, and would like to thank local and area residents for their patience and understanding while repairs were being made.
