Newly recruited family physician practising in Cold Lake

COLD LAKE — A newly recruited family physician is practising at the local healthcare centre and in community, improving access to care for local and area residents.

Dr. Osarenkhoe Osemwegie is a family medicine physician practising at the Cold Lake Healthcare Centre and the CL Medical Clinic. He is supporting the local emergency department, inpatient and outpatient services, and long-term care at the local healthcare centre, as well as providing family medicine care at the community clinic.

“It is great news to welcome Dr. Osemwegie to Cold Lake,” says Scott Cyr, MLA for Bonnyville-Cold Lake-St. Paul. “His expertise will make a real difference in the health and well-being of local residents. We look forward to the positive impact he will have on our community.”

Dr. Osemwegie received his medical training and completed his residency in Nigeria, his home country. He is married with two children.
